Hey, my name is Jerry and I graduated from North Sydney Boys in 2021, and I am currently studying medicine in the Joint medical program.
I achieved state rank 1 for both Indonesian continuers and extension. I studied Indonesian for 6 years and have developed numerous strategies which ultimately allowed me to achieve state rank 1 in both Indonesian Continuers and Indonesian Extension. I remember when I was starting Indonesian, there were not many resources or tutors for it, and I had to overcome all the challenges and obstacles alone. This was especially the case with the new syllabus for Indonesian Extension, but I now have the experience and expertise to help any Indonesian student achieve great marks.
I also came rank 1 internally for Math Advanced and rank 10 for Math Extension 1 at the No.1 Boy's selective school in the state. I wasn't particularly gifted or talent at math, however I have developed study habits and exam techniques throughout the years which helped me achieve great marks in the subject. These habits proved effective during the Covid-19 lockdown, as I was able to stay ahead with the content and succeed. As an Med student, I understand how difficult and stressful the UCAT is, however having done it twice and getting 98 percentile both times, I believe I have the strategies which can help you get a competitive score.
