I’m a friendly and dedicated tutor currently studying the Doctor of Medicine at University of Notre Dame Australia, with a strong academic background and extensive experience navigating competitive exams and high-level study. Having completed both the HSC and GAMSAT successfully, as well as a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy, I understand not only what students need to learn, but how to study effectively, perform under pressure, and build long-term academic confidence. While I tutor across a range of subjects, my primary focus is English, particularly essay writing, creative writing, comprehension, and exam technique. English was actually the subject I had to work hardest at throughout school, which ultimately led it to become one of my strongest subjects. Because of this, I understand the challenges many students face with writing and analysis, and I focus on teaching practical strategies that genuinely improve marks and confidence. Alongside subject content, I place a strong emphasis on: -Exam technique and time management -Study skills and revision strategies -Structured, analytical thinking -Building confidence in high-pressure academic settings I also enjoy mentoring students interested in pursuing medicine via the postgraduate pathway, including guidance around study habits, university pathways, and GAMSAT preparation.
