📚 Dedicated Software Engineering HSC Tutoring: Small Online Weekend Classes Hi everyone, I'm Tongyu, a final-year Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) / Bachelor of Laws student at the University of Sydney, and I'm opening a small live online class for Year 12 Software Engineering students across NSW. A bit about my background: • 99.60 ATAR (2021) • 96 in Software Design and Development, the predecessor course to Software Engineering • 1st place, Sydney University Computing Society's SyncsHack hackathon 2024 (300+ competitors) • Software Engineering Intern at Atlassian, 2023–2024, one of Australia's largest tech companies • 2+ years of one-on-one HSC tutoring, with a focus on Software Engineering After two years of private tutoring, I've consistently seen the same gap: Software Engineering has far fewer quality resources and tutors available than subjects like Maths or English. I'm running this class to change that. Classes are: • Live online, on weekends (Saturday or Sunday groups) • Kept small so every student gets real attention • Starting Term 4, 2026 (week of 13 October), running through to the end of Year 12 This is the first cohort I'm running as a structured class rather than 1:1, so spots are limited.
