I will create a plan catered towards your school’s study and assessment schedule, so we can stay ahead of your learning at school. Learning ahead of school, means that you will be prepared for school lessons, and can use them as revision sessions. SCIENCE / CHEMISTRY 🔬🧪 🔹 Learning Exam Technique 🔹 Exam technique, especially for short and long response answers is one of the most important parts of Chemistry. I will teach you how to effectively plan and write your answers so you can write succinct but detailed responses to questions. I will go above and beyond what your school expects, including diagrams, tables, flowcharts in your answers. 🔹 Student Projects / Depth Study 🔹 I have helped many students with their school science assessments, and helped them achieve high marks. I will teach you how to write an experimental report, and we will plan out the structure of the assignment together. I will ensure that you write a detailed report. For year 12 students, I myself did 2 depth studies in school, so I know the structure, and planning of it well. MUSIC 🎶 🎼 Having played violin for 16 years now, and achieved a 98/100 and 2 Encore nominations for Music 2, I am experienced with the high school and HSC music syllabus. Depending on your school's schedule, we will focus on the Concepts of Music and how to apply them to different pieces, melodic dictation and sight singing. I consistently received full marks for my music essays, so I am familiar with the structure and content of essays and short answer questions, and I will work with you so you can achieve great results. UCAT 🖥 🧠 UCAT is one of the most important aspects of getting into Medicine. It is also one of the sections that lots of students find the hardest. Most students jump into it blindly, and don’t plan how they will study. Combining this with the stress of year 12, UCAT is usually low priority for students. With me, you will learn tips, tricks, techniques and skills that helps you navigate each section, to see quick improvements and ensure efficient, effective UCAT prep. MEDICINE INTERVIEWS 🥼🩺 I offer both medicine interview classes as well as mock interviews. First, in classes I will teach you how the interviews are run. Each university has its own system, stations, and questions they like to ask. We will focus on how you present yourself including both verbal and non-verbal communication skills, structuring detailed but brief responses, as well as university-specific information that will help you stand out to the interviewers. Next, we will do mock interviews closer to your interview which will mimic the pressure of the real thing.
