About
*99.75 ATAR - SYDNEY GRAMMAR SCHOOL - UNSW MEDICINE STUDENT*
Hi all, I'm Ethan Kooner and I graduated from Sydney Grammar in 2021 with an ATAR of 99.75. I am currently a 2nd year Medicine student at UNSW. I achieved Band 6/E4 results in all 7 of my courses, with my marks listed below:
Mathematics Extension 1: 98/100
Mathematics Extension 2: 94/100
Chemistry: 94/100
Economics: 94/100
English Advanced: 93/100
French Continuers: 95/100
French Extension: 45/50
I tutor students from primary school to Year 12 in Maths and Science, and have a desire to help students achieve their maximum potential. Having myself juggled high level cricket/football training and competitive debating with leadership roles and studying in Year 12, I know that time management and productivity is the key to success. To reduce the stress and anxiety of studying, my lessons are adjusted to fit the varying needs of different students, focusing on first familiarisation with syllabus content and then practising exam questions of increasing difficulty.
Having graduated in 2021, I have first hand experience with the new HSC syllabi introduced in 2019. My students have access to all school and individual notes and resources which include exemplar responses, state-rank notes and hundreds of past papers.
I am a relaxed and easygoing person! Learning in an individual environment, unlike the classroom, allows students to ask questions 24/7 and gain a deeper understanding of course content.
I am happy to conduct lessons in person in the Eastern Suburbs or online over Zoom.
Feel free to message privately if you are interested or have any further questions!
