// 99.80 ATAR // PHYSICS, MATHS, GERMAN TUTORING // 4 YEARS EXPERIENCE // G’day! My name's Alex. I graduated from Trinity Grammar School in 2021 with a 99.80 ATAR and am currently studying a double degree in Mechanical Engineering and European Languages at Monash University on an Engineering Excellence Scholarship (one of only 10 awarded). Alongside my studies, I am a Propulsion Engineer with Monash High Powered Rocketry, a student rocketry engineering team at Monash University. In this role, I have worked on the design and testing of rocket propulsion systems, giving me hands-on experience with how the mathematics and physics taught in high school connect to real engineering situations. This practical perspective allows me to connect theory with real-world applications in a way students find engaging and motivating. As part of my European Languages major, I have studied German and Spanish to a high level at university, developing strong proficiency in both languages, particularly in grammar, written expression, and reading comprehension. Over the past four years as a tutor, I’ve helped dozens of students achieve their academic goals and have accumulated hundreds of hours of tutoring experience. I’m passionate about helping students build a strong foundation in core concepts, whether they’re working through homework, preparing for SACs, or targeting top exam results. I offer both in-person and online tutoring for students from Year 7 through to VCE, and I’m happy to travel to homes or meet at public libraries around Kew, Balwyn, and Box Hill.
