My name is Emily, and I am a passionate tutor of 3 years, studying Law/Psychology at QUT (fourth-year). I also work at Colin Biggers and Paisley Law Firm in risk management. I offer tutoring in many subjects including Psychology, Legal Studies, Modern History, Dance, English, and Study of Religion. I also specialise in public speaking, motivational goal setting and assessment preparation and skills. My approach to tutoring is finding a system that works for my students individual needs, and teaching my personal 101 hot-tips for assessment preparation that 1. keeps them on track 2. doesn't overwhelm them 3. Ensures that they cover ALL topics for assessment. I am passionate about teaching my students to have self accountability with my support to guide them through any form of study including: emergency study help, long term tutoring, assessment preparation, ISMG run-throughs, grade run-throughs, assessment editing ext. I take pride in combining study skills with content to teach my students how to best apply their knowledge to their different types of assessment. In my opinion and from an outside perspective on Emily’s tutoring skills, I think she is a very talented tutor. I’ve seen the dedication she has to assist her students wherever she can so they are able to achieve their highest results. She is consistent with her work ethic and is always encouraging her students to achieve to their highest potential. There is constantly engagement and communication between her and her students to make sure they are on the right path and that she is helping them as much as she can. She uses her own time to organise and plan activities, study plans, ect… that will greater benefit them in the future and to further assist them in their next study session. She reaches out and checks in with them during their exams and during the steps through their assignments. She is someone who is very reliable and intelligent and she does a great job of supporting all her students and she always strives to reach everyone full potential.
