Hello! My name is Rowena Fisher. I graduated from Abbotsleigh in 2023 and I have accepted an early offer to commence a Bachelor of Law/Bachelor of Arts degree at the Australian National University in February 2024. I received an ATAR of 98.85 and came 5th in the state for English Extension 2 where I received a mark of 100. I have a strong passion for learning, self-development and helping others achieve their personal best, as I know firsthand how striving for academic success can be both rewarding and challenging.

I am a motivated and hardworking tutor who is keen to share her passion for English, History, Geography, Commerce and Business Studies with students at any level. I believe in creating a collaborative and interactive learning process that involves discussion, asking questions and posing different scenarios to create a deeper sense of understanding and retention. If you choose to tutor with me, I am willing to offer UP TO DATE Band 6 syllabus notes, essays, past paper responses and essay plans as I am a recent HSC finisher. I also offer trial lessons that are half price!
MY TUTORING EXPERIENCE
I have been a tutor for the past 2 years, meaning I have a wealth of experience in breaking down hard topics, constructing suitable lesson plans and editing assessment tasks, all of which have been geared toward achieving academic excellence and HSC success. I find it very rewarding to help other students grow and become more curious learners, as my education has easily been the most transformative experience of my life. It is incredible to make students feel empowered to take control of their learning and achieve their personal best, and I would love to do so for your child.
