Online is preferred. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Hi, I’m Masham! 💗 I graduated from Brisbane State High School in 2021 with a 98.75 ATAR, studying Literature, Math Methods, Physics, Chemistry, Film & TV, and Visual Art. Since then, I’ve completed my Bachelor of Computer Science at The University of Queensland and now work as a Software Engineer at Microsoft. Even while working full-time, I’ve continued tutoring because I genuinely love teaching and mentoring students. It’s something I find really rewarding, and over the years it’s also helped me grow a lot in communication, leadership, and understanding how differently people learn. I know firsthand how stressful senior school can feel with balancing assignments, externals, scaling, university pressure, and trying to figure out what you actually want to do afterwards. My goal as a tutor is not just to help students improve academically, but to help them feel more confident, capable, and supported throughout the process. I also have experience working with neurodivergent students and understand that everyone learns differently. I try to create a supportive and judgement-free environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning at their own pace, and building study habits that actually work for them individually. I’m also available as a mentor for students looking for guidance beyond academics, including university pathways, STEM careers, internships, extracurriculars, and navigating life after high school. I also put a lot of time into preparing resources outside of sessions, including personalised notes, assignment feedback, study plans, practice questions, and ongoing support where needed. Tutoring with me is about having someone invested in helping you improve and feel more confident throughout the year. I know a lot of students are capable of doing far better than they think, but sometimes struggle with motivation, burnout, self-doubt, or feeling like they’re “not smart enough” for certain subjects.
