About
Hello! I'm Las, a first-year student studying Dentistry.
I graduated from Narrabundah College in 2021. During years 11 and 12, I studied Specialist Methods and Specialist Mathematics (Double Maths), Chemistry, Economics and English. I also sat the UCAT test and scored in the 97th percentile.
My scaled scores are:
Specialist Maths, 100.9
Chemistry, 98.8
I am currently studying dentistry, although I have also received offers to study a Doctor of Medicine and Law.
I am more than happy to tutor or help students with English, Mathematics and Science from kindy to Year 12.
I can explain a challenging topic in a really simple way for students to understand using various analogies for different learning styles. I try to make my lessons as open and friendly as possible so my students feel that it is a safe space to make mistakes and to learn. I also cater to each and everyone's different learning styles using a range of visual and written resources. In addition to fully understanding and applying the concepts, I love to teach students study and organisational tips to help them become independent life-long learners!

Character references
Laasya is a very organised person by nature and is very particular about providing a nice structure for students to follow. She is very supportive, compassionate and ensures students that it's okay to make mistakes. The level of detail she puts into the prep is unrivalled and ensures all lessons with her are also enjoyable for the students. She also has excellent resources, and will help boost confidence in anyone's learning process.
