Hey there!! I’m Josh.
I achieved a perfect 99.95 ATAR in WACE and am a Lawrence Scholar at UWA, studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours). I would love to help you and put you on the path to academic excellence!
I went to Kingsway Christian College and graduated as the high school DUX every year from Year 7 to 12. I was also selected to attend a Summer School, as one of the top 30 physics students in Year 12, throughout Australia.
My past and current students, include those from Perth Modern and Christchurch Grammar. This has given me experience in both being able to extend students who are already achieving, as well as being able to work on helping out students who may need an extra boost in their studies.
High school life can be hard and complicated. Juggling studies with friends, family, sport and work, is tough. But I would love to help you out - to provide an opportunity for you to be able to excel in your studies by studying efficiently, while also being able to enjoy all the other things high school life has to offer.
Personally, I believe that education is more about understanding and learning things you can use and apply in daily life, rather than just memorising words out of a textbook. It is my goal, as a tutor, to break down complex topics in simple, easy-to-understand ways that will ensure that you really perform in your exams and tests.
By giving you all the tips and tricks that I learnt through my personal experience in high school, we can succeed together.
