I graduated from high school in 2021 and have been tutoring biology, chemistry, mathematical methods, further mathematics, English, psychology and Italian for over 4 years. For subjects like mathematics and the sciences, my sessions revolve around working through theory, and then moving onto textbook questions and application questions. It is my aim to clarify any concerns that a student might have about a particular topic by breaking topics down into smaller, more understandable parts. For English my sessions are more fluid, whether it's giving students feedback on an essay they have written or going through the structure of an essay, there is always lots to practise! I have aided many students in preparing for their VCE English exam, not only in terms of the structuring of the essays, but also their time management and organisational skills. For Italian, I offer specialised lessons that focus on the preparation for the end of year Italian oral and also practise listening, reading and writing tasks. Having recently graduated I am familiar with the current study designs and exams for biology, chemistry, Italian, mathematical methods, English and psychology. I also provide practise exams and extra revision materials so each student feels extra confident! In summary, my class structure revolves around what each individual student would like to focus on, whether that is getting ahead with content, revising past content, going through questions or working on practise exams. I am able to tailor my sessions for each individual; whether they are visual learners, rote learners or auditory learners. I have worked with a wide variety of students through my experiences both as a private tutor and a tutor for multiple different tutoring companies. Currently I am studying at The University of Melbourne and I also have a Working With Children Check.
