Physics! + Chemistry! + Biology! Hi! My name is Max and I graduated from Carey Baptist Grammar School with an ATAR of 99.00. I have a passion for physics and chemistry, receiving 40+ study scores in both VCE Physics and VCE Chemistry. I am currently undertaking the Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne with a major in Neuroscience, and have completed university level physics, chemistry and biology subjects with H1 first class honours. I also received a 76 in the GAMSAT (99th percentile). Currently taking on new students for 2024! Send me a message if you are interested! I would highly recommend Max as a Chemistry 3/4 tutor as he is very familiar with the study design and very good at articulating difficult concepts clearly and simply. Max explained concepts often using diagrams and examples to ensure I fully understood the course content whilst also being engaging by encouraging me to answer questions. The practice questions were particularly helpful as exams approached and he payed attention to which topics I wanted to focus on or needed extra help with. I could also send through or bring in questions that I found difficult in class and he would walk through them or reply promptly to ensure I understood them completely leading up to assessments and exams.

Max started tutoring me in physics in year 11, a class I immensely enjoyed but struggled in academically, all the way till the end of year 12. I went from a D+ student in year 11 to achieving a 32 study score at the conclusion of my academics. I would highly recommend Max as a physics tutor as he allowed me to countinue and achieve results previously un-attainable in a subject I enjoyed.

He is an excellent communicator, deep and curious thinker and someone who strives to truly understand anything that he is learning. His strong understanding of concepts allows his to clearly explain the ideas. He is a natural teacher and was highly valued in classes for his ability to assist other students.
