99.95 ATAR | IB 45 Hi, my name is Josh Perera! I recently graduated from Trinity Grammar School where I completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma. I received a perfect IB score of 45/45 (99.95 ATAR), earning me the privileged position of 'Equal First in the World.' I am now studying a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Commerce at Sydney Uni, and have substantial corporate experience. Having begun tutoring immediately after my final exams, I have 2500+ hours of one-on-one tutoring experience since then and my students have received excellent results; including PERFECT 45/45 IB scores, full marks in IAs and ALL students receiving Grade 7s in the components they received tuition for. I am able to tutor IB Mathematics AI/AA SL, including support with the IA (IA: 95%) - Economics SL/HL (Ranked 3rd in cohort)- Achieved a raw mark of 81 in Economics HL, surpassing the grade boundary by 12 marks including 85% in the final exams. - French SL/ab initio (Ranked 4th) - Received a raw mark of 87 in French SL, exceeding the grade boundary by 8 marks including 97% in the writing examination. Received High Distinction in Advanced French at University. - Sports, Exercise and Health Science SL (Highest mark at TGS) - Raw mark of 87, beating the grade boundary by 11 marks including 92% in the IA. - English Literature and Language & Literature SL/HL - Scored a grade 7 in English Literature HL, with top 5 rank in cohort. A: I wrote my EE on English Literature (Category 2) and received a mark of 32/34 TOK: I received 7 in my Theory of Knowledge Essay and a raw mark of 9/10 in the presentation. CAS: Over 200 reflections and over 550 completed CAS hours. Having balanced many activities with the IB, I have developed valuable organisational and time management skills and study techniques, that can help you be more efficient. I can also help improve your assignments and exam preparation. I have experience working with high school students of all ages and abilities, and teach in a relatable, understandable and friendly manner that is adaptable to the individual needs of the student. Currently, I also work as a Debating Adjudicator for the ISDA, Archdale and GPS Debating Competitions.
