Hello, my name is Ammarah and I am a passionate tutor seeking to deliver positive change within students to achieve their potential. I recognise and have compassion for students that require a safe space to make mistakes and learn from them, in order to succeed. I am a 2022 HSC graduate with an atar of 98.6. I have recived marks of 96 in Advanced Mathematics, 47 in Extension 1 Mathematics, 92 in Economics, 92 in English, 92 in Biology, and 88 in Chemistry. Currently I am studying at UNSW as an optometry student. In particular I aspire to help others strive for the same satisfaction I get from solving a problem. I have 4 year experience as an online tutor, and 1 months in person tutoring experience. As a tutor I am able to recognise and rectify any misunderstanding and mistakes that may hinder the ability of the student to grasp the content well enough to excel in it. This teaching style ensures students feel more confident and learn to enjoy maths. I have completed the extension 1 and advanced HSC mathematics course and have a thorough knowledge on the topics that have been covered. I wish to aid students entering year 11 as they transition into senior high school. I am also able to help students from year 7-10 to increase their understanding of the foundational information that is crucial as they continue through high school. As a tutor this means I am able to provide the best care for my students to allow them to reach their potential.
