About

A little about me Hello, My name is Maimoona Arja. I am currently in my first year of masters of teaching. I was studying a bachelor of advanced science pre-medicine at UTS university. I am planning to go to medical school after I finish my master's degree. What have I studied in high school? I have studied all sciences physics, chemistry, and biology. I am also good at geography as well. In years 11 and 12 I made it to zone for a 200m race. Unfortunately didn’t go further than that they were all so fast . In high school I also done a program through tafe for peer literacy tutoring and helped high school kids in year 7 with improving their reading and learned how to help them improve in their reading. What was I best at? My highest was in standard English. I can be very helpful for all high school students as I am familiar with the environment and workload. What am I planning to do? In high school, my original goal was to become a science teacher for high school but after attending university I was very curious about the human body and loved studying biology. So my dream is now to become a doctor. I would like to become a doctor for children a paediatrician. 😊 Life doesn't go as planned however it just means you need a slight change. :) Currently doing a masters of teaching specialising in sciences biology and chemistry. Through gamsat I have learnt how to effectively write texts as well as be able to show effective time management and reasoning skills. Teaching Style I also don't have a rigorous structure. I first observe where my students are and what they need to improve then after I have identified I create a plan that helps meet the needs of my students.
