Hi! My name is Alex and I graduated highschool in 2020 with an ATAR of 95.55. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of International Studies (Dean's scholar) at the University of Wollongong (HD WAM), and have been a private tutor since November 2020. I am also currently undergoing training to help students with motivation, time management, and productivity issues, which may impact academic performance.
My speciality lies in Japanese and ancient history, both of which I am studying at university, however I am also able to tutor english students, as I achieved a band 6 in advanced english, and an E4 in extension 1 english.
As a recently graduated student I understand the anxieties surrounding exams and assignments, and am passionate about teaching exam skills which enable students to achieve their potential. I am also familiar with the syllabus changes and can help students understand what examiners look for.
I currently only offer online tutoring due to time constraints but I do offer in person tutoring if students are willing to travel to me, or a public library near me.
I also offer editing for essays, creatives, discusives, reflections etc. ( words = $25, every aditional 500 words = an extra $5).
