Hi!
I have previously worked as a Tutor at two companies. I now work privately concurrently with my Law studies. I have been tutoring for six years now.
Tutoring is a big passion of mine and I enjoy providing support, guidance and mentoring. I have worked within the RMIT Peer Mentoring program where I worked with my peers and course juniors to provide mentoring and additional tutoring. I currently have a range of students who I've been with for several years. I am always excited to begin working with new students to provide short-term or long-term tutoring.
Some of my high school students I continue to support and mentor through their university studies.
My strengths as a tutor involve patience and understanding. I am able to work out what types of methods help the student best, in order for them to achieve their answer or finish a piece of writing so that they can feel accomplished. I am able to identify areas that may be confusing to a student and provide explanations that the students will understand. Legal Studies, Business Management, and English are my strongest subjects. (for secondary).

Sofia is a fantastic tutor and person, I've been with her for 3 years. I have experienced so many new ways of learning with Sofia, her teaching techniques are phenomenal. I would recommend her to anyone who needs help with tutoring due to her wide variety of experience and knowledge. Sophia had mentored me in different law subjects such as Corporate and Contracts law, she is extremely knowledgeable with the subjects that she tutors and provides really detailed suggestions in how I could improve my legal writing! She is also empathetic and compassionate, I was worried about failing certain subjects in my first year of law, and Sophia supported me through giving me helpful advice and suggestions on how to improve on my study techniques( note taking etc). She is an amazing tutor but also a supportive friend!
If you’re in need of some tutoring and need a guide as a law student, please get Sophia as your tutor hehe. :)))

Sofia is the greatest mentor I have come across. She is very particular and detail-oriented when giving feedback on your work. She is very helpful and resourceful when it comes to helping students on legal topics. She encourages you to take part on doing credentials that will benefit for your studies and your future career. I’m currently in year 11 but I have been taking lessons with Sofia since the beginning of year 10 for English. I’m now taking lessons with her for year VCE legal studies. Sofia has been a great motivator and she’s taught me how to be more organised in my study which has given me a lot of confidence and has helped me improve in my overall study habits. Sofia has not only been an amazing tutor, she’s been a great mentor & a friend, and she continues to be a an invaluable support for me as I undergo VCE study.

I’m in year 9 but I started with Sofia in year 8. Sofia has helped me keep on track with my weekly assignments and any upcoming projects or tests. I’m always ahead of my class and this helps me not get too anxious around exam time. She doesn’t just help me check my work before I submit it, she also teaches how to fix any mistakes I have made so I can learn to write better essays and this has helped me improve so much. She’s also really friendly and caring.

I’m currently in year 10 & Sofia has tutored me in the past year for English and this year she has been supporting me in both English and VCE legal studies. I was not very confident in English but with Sofia’s support I have gained a lot of confidence in both subjects and my grades have really improved . Sofia is also a very nice person and she makes you feel very comfortable. I hope to continue with Sofia all the way to year 12.

I highly recommend Sofia, she has been tutoring my daughters for over a year now in both Legal studies and English. She’s professional, she’s reliable, she’s consistent with her schedule and her student support often extends beyond the tutoring sessions.
