Hi! My name is Katya and I recently graduated from high school in 2020 with an ATAR of 96.35 and an average of 84% in Year 12 English ATAR. The ATAR subjects that I took in Year 12 were English, Modern History, Politics and Law, Religion and Life and Mathematics Applications. I graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Arts (Law and Society and Business Law) in 2023 and am commencing the Juris Doctor in 2024. I have worked as a private tutor for the past three years and an English ATAR lecturer at ATAR Notes for the past two. My role at ATAR Notes included the preparation of lectures explaining and simplifying the English ATAR syllabus for students across WA. This role allowed me to spread the availability of educational resources and help students to achieve success and gain confidence in a supportive environment. My private tutoring lessons are equally based around covering syllabus content in depth as well as refining exam skills, in particular writing and analytical skills, and time management. After simplifying concepts and topics, I complete practice assessments and exams with students in order to ensure they can also execute the knowledge they are learning. My tutoring experience has allowed me to devise an effective teaching method which can also be tailored to the students individual needs to ensure success. The subjects that I am available to provide tuition for are: English ATAR Lower school English (Years 7-10) Primary school English My rate is $50 per hour and I am able to come to your desired location to provide the tuition ie. your house, the library etc. Thank you!
