About

I am a year 12 student enrolled at Perth Modern School, and I am eager to offer my tutoring services to support and enhance the academic journey of your child. Understanding the challenges and demands that students face, I am confident in my experience in making a positive impact on the education of my students. The initial tutoring session includes a free worksheet as well as tailored advice on improving your child's ability to study productively and aid their test taking strategies. During sessions, extra time will be dedicated toward areas of difficulty and struggle, opening new pathways as well as building confidence. Additionally, sessions will be optimized by accounting for test dates and course documents, ensuring that all criteria are met to a high standard before their respective due dates. Pricing varies based on grade level and group size. Primary (grades 1-6) tutoring is available. Please check the availability of sessions with me via text or email, and I will let you know if a time slot is open.

Michael Adams is an excellent tutor. Every time I go in for a session I come out knowing so much more than before. Michael makes learning enjoyable and easy, and is very approachable. He makes sure that I know what I’m doing and is always there if I need help. He’s super friendly and encourages me to go home and practise things we’ve learnt, which usually I would never do, but I actually want to, now that im learning with Michael, and I am thankful for that. He’s not like other tutors, he’s so down to earth and is just an enjoyable person to be around in general. He doesn’t make me feel dumb and actually explains to me how to do things and different ways to approach equations. I am very grateful for Michael, he is a maths life saver, I look forward to all our sessions and to me understanding more about maths. Because I genuinely do think why people don’t like subjects usually roots from them not understanding or not knowing how to do them, so im enjoying math much more now. Thank you.

Michael answered all of the questions that I asked him in a way that was easy to understand, whilst putting extra effort into the topics that I found particularly difficult. Through my lessons with him, I have not only found ways to improve my mathematics ability, but discovered how to develop my study habits for the future. He taught me how to study efficiently and this has improved my results significantly.

Michael has been a loyal friend for many years and an amazing person to know. He is hardworking and diligent and there is nothing he doesn't get done once he sets his mind to doing it. Michael has always been a sociable team player and his lighthearted and positive attitude allows him to get along with almost anyone. Michael and I have had countless study sessions together and I can say with confidence that Michael knows his stuff, and more importantly, he knows how to explain and teach his stuff.
