About

French I completed VCE French in 2016 and received a study score of 45. French is truly my passion! I have four years experience tutoring both primary and secondary students. I specialise in oral practice including poem recitation for the annual Berthe Mouchette competition as well as reading comprehension, listening and writing practice. I am patient and enjoy helping students of all levels build their confidence to speak the language freely. My lessons are primarily focused on helping students complete their set homework as well as providing additional resources to target personal areas of development, i.e. pronunciation, grammar etc. I am also available to tutor VCE students upon request - different rates apply. English Having received a 47 study score in VCE English, I am equipped to tutor students of all ages and assist in essay writing, textual comprehension as well as language analysis. As someone who struggled with English growing up, my aim is to help build students' confidence and share the tips and tricks I have learnt throughout my study journey to make their path easier. Music Theory Students completing AMEB music instrumental exams will understand the pain of the music theory. But not to fear - I make lessons super fun & easy! Having completed my AMEB Grade 8 Flute with Honours, I also sat my Grade 4 Music Theory and received a High Distinction. I provide comprehensive notes to students who are struggling to grasp certain lessons as well as exam tips to prepare for the final paper. Flute Having studied for over 12 years and with performance experience including solo, orchestral and chamber work, I am experienced with preparing for performances and exams. I completed my Grade 8 AMEB exam with Honours and have a wide repertoire under my belt to share with students of all ages. With prior experience in one-on-one flute teaching, I am able to assist beginner students in making their first notes and also helping develop a more experienced player's technique. A highlight of my music journey was being selected for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Youth Project whereby I performed live alongside Melbourne's best musicians to thousands of concert-goers.
