Hi everyone! My name is Jacky. I graduated from a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in 2019 from UNSW and was also an alumnus from Girraween High School, graduating with an ATAR of 98.15 in 2015. While achieving an overall distinction WAM in my degree, I also achieved the following in HSC: English (Advanced, 92), Engineering Studies (94), Maths (Extension 1, 90) , Chemistry (90), Physics (85), Maths (Extension 2, 84) I have tutored numerous students in primary and high school subjects since 2018, focusing on the students’ academic strengths and weaknesses and tailoring material that will maximise their academic potential. I believe every student has their own method and pace of learning, thus will require a personalised way of teaching. I am very keen to kick-start and further develop any students I take onboard. I am able to tutor students both online and in-person. I am happy to tutor students at mine or at the student's home. I tutor the following subjects: Primary School Maths, Reading Comprehension and Writing, Year 7-10 English, Year 11-12 English Advanced, Year 7-10 Maths, Year 11-12 Maths Advanced & Extension 1, Year 11-12 Physics, and Engineering Studies I also tutor primary school students in preparation for the Selective School Test: Maths, Reading Comprehension, Thinking Skills (formerly known as General Ability), and Writing.
