Hi my name is Nathan. I am a graduate of Epping Boys High School and completed my studies at the University of Sydney, where I graduated with First Class Honours. I have over five years of experience tutoring mathematics across all levels of the Higher School Certificate. As a graduate of the HSC in a challenging year in 2020, I understand the difficulty of maintaining a consistent and effective study routine. I work closely with students to develop strong time management skills, build disciplined study habits, and approach their learning in a structured and proactive way. I am a patient and enthusiastic tutor who is committed to breaking down complex or intimidating concepts into clear, manageable steps. I take a highly flexible and adaptable approach to tutoring, tailoring each lesson to address a student’s individual needs and key areas of difficulty. I place strong emphasis on identifying weaknesses early and systematically building students’ understanding and confidence from the ground up. With over five years of tutoring experience, I have taught Mathematics at all levels, as well as Chemistry and Business Studies. I am highly familiar with the current syllabus and work closely with students to consolidate their understanding so they are well prepared to tackle a wide range of question styles. Over the years, I have supported many long-term students and have built strong relationships that have led to ongoing referrals, reflecting both student progress and parent satisfaction. Students will also receive access to comprehensive, up-to-date syllabus notes, resources, and practice papers to maximise learning outcomes and support them in achieving their academic goals.
