Hey! I'm Sophie, and I graduated school in 2020 with an ATAR of 98.75. I'm currently studying medicine at The University of Adelaide and am offering personalised zoom tutoring in 2024. My best subjects were in English (50 - a perfect score) and Psychology (46). But I am highly capable of tutoring subjects such as VCE (Victorian Curriculum) VCD and Biology as well. With a strong passion for learning, I’d be more than happy to share my knowledge, tips and tricks to help you achieve whatever it is that you want out of your studies. In 2020 I studied Rear Window and Never Let Me Go/Stasiland in English. However, regardless of text, I can help you with your writing style, text knowledge and grammar to achieve fluent writing. I am a patient, enthusiastic and dedicated tutor whose goals are to break down tricky concepts into simple and easy to follow ideas and build confidence in my students. I will work with students to develop their reading skills, spelling, idea generation, sentence/paragraph structure and writing (creative and analytical). In English, (for the texts I studied during year 12) I provide my own essays, notes and resources that helped me to succeed. Additionally, practice questions/essays are always welcome. I have experience tutoring on a volunteer basis for Exodus Community House in which I helped students between years 5-10 with their spelling and writing skills. Additionally, I have over three years experience tutoring both private students as well as in a classroom environment. I am available most afternoons/evenings. Tutoring is available over Zoom.
