Hi! I'm Owen, currently a fourth-year Civil Engineering student at UNSW. I graduated from Baulkham Hills High School in 2020 with a 95.55 ATAR, achieving Band 6 for Adv/3U Maths and Adv/3U English. I've been tutoring part-time since 2020, both as a 1-on-1 tutor and a group class tutor for 20-30 students at once. My own teaching style emphasises focusing on your own individual weaknesses in your subject and improving upon them. I ensure that my students have a solid grasp of the fundamentals, which alone will take you far in Maths and English. I strive to maintain a chill, safe and comfortable atmosphere with my students - you should never feel afraid to ask questions or screw up! I personally experienced a drastic improvement in my marks from Year 11 to Year 12, and I credit much of that to two different private tutors I began having 1-on-1 lessons with.
