I'm Emma, and I'm offering individual tutoring for 3/4 Legal Studies in 2024 😊 I scored a raw 50 in Legal Studies, and I'd love to help you achieve a great score in this subject as well. Whether you need extra help understanding a specific topic covered at school, want to improve the way you structure and answer difficult exam questions, or need assistance revising for an upcoming SAC, my lessons will be personalised in a way that best suits you. A little about me: 🔸 Raw 50 + Premiers Award for Legal Studies in 2020 🔸 Graduated in 2021 with an ATAR of 99.30 🔸 Currently undertaking a Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne 🔸 300+ hours of experience as a Legal Studies tutor of students from both public and private schools 🔸 Melbourne University Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholar Class of 2021 🔸 I hold a valid Working with Children Check What I offer as a tutor: ✏ Extensive and detailed notes that identify common errors and misunderstandings + many practise questions written by myself that are personalised to best suit your SAC and exam preparation ✏ Timely marking of practice questions and papers, with in-depth feedback ✏ SAC and exam preparation strategies + specialised SAC and exam preparation classes ✏ General VCE study tips, strategies, and advice for multiple subjects (including subjects other than Legal) + 24/7 support outside of scheduled lessons to answer any questions Organising lessons and rates: 🔸️️ Individual lessons will be held online or in-person (at Melbourne University) for $80/hr, and will run for 1 hour each week. 🔸️️ There will be several time slots available, and students will be allocated to their preferred time slots until all spots are filled. I can't wait to help you smash Legal Studies in 2024! Some of my past students' experiences: Emma is a very dedicated tutor. She provides support and guidance that extends beyond the limits of the lesson. I’m always able to turn to her for help at any time and she’s able to give her best advice despite cutting into her personal time. She also manages to make her lessons incredibly engaging by asking a series of mini quiz questions during them so that students don’t get distracted too easily while ensuring that the content is getting through to them. Her personally created sets of notes are extremely detailed while not being as dense as the textbook, easy to base summary notes off of and designed to help people understand the content more clearly. This is especially true by the fact that they contain practice questions of high difficulty students can do and send to her at the start of each lesson so she can give feedback, mark it, and look at a sample response to help them improve. Students can also go through practice questions, SACs, and exams they’ve done outside of what she provides as well as their SACs from school with her and she’ll create a document with feedback relating to it so they can always look back on it. However, perhaps equally important, Emma is an excellent mentor. She ensures that her students are equipped with the knowledge they need to succeed in both Legal Studies and beyond. Life advice here, an entire document full of study tips there, students can be certain that during their time with Emma, they will learn much more than just content. Even after their time with her is over, students can still seek guidance from her, and she will happily help out. Another great help was her questions that were at the end of each document, because when it came down to sacs I would use them as my sac/exam questions and test my own knowledge which raised my score in Legal Studies massively.
