Hi, I'm Ishika! I'm currently studying Medicine at the University of Melbourne and I received the Chancellor's scholarship. I graduated from Queensland's top performing school, QASMT (Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology) in 2020 with a perfect IB (International Baccalaureate) score of 45. This is equivalent to an ATAR of 99.95, meaning that I achieved an A in QCAA for all of my subjects.
I offer tutoring for Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, English Economics, and Spanish. My aim is to challenge students to reach their full potential so that they can achieve their long-term academic goals. I do this by preparing them for their exams, as well as helping with assignments, whether it be at the initial stage or reviewing their drafts. Having completed all the practice papers available, I also have a personalised bank of past paper questions, which I use to familiarise my students with exam-style questions. In the past 3 years, I've helped students by proofreading and providing feedback on their IAs that aligns with IB/ QCAA criteria. I have a strong academic background in the subjects I tutor, and I am well-versed in the latest curriculum and requirements.
Additionally, I can help prepare for NAPLAN, ICAS, as well as entrance exams (such as edutest and ACER). I have been tutoring since 2021 and have 2500+ hours of experience in tutoring. All my students have graduated with an IB score of 44+ (ATAR 99.6+) and with my results-driven tutoring approach, I can help you achieve such results as well.
I am also happy to supply comprehensive notes, sample exam responses, and final assignments (for students to use as an exemplar). So if you're interested, I can advise you of the cost of my notes and IAs, just send through a text :)
I am currently only offering online tutoring via zoom due to time constraints, with the cost depending on the year level:

Ishika tutored me for Maths Methods and English throughout grade 10, 11 and 12 and I could not have asked for better support in my studies. Ishika’s English skills are impeccable, I saw a substantial improvement in my essay writing and also in my overall English skills such as vocabulary and sentence structuring .Although maths methods is a more difficult subject, Ishika was able to explain difficult concept in a simplistic sense and helped me to implement methods of problem solving which I was able to apply for the remainder of the syllabus. Something I admire the most about Ishika’s tutoring is her ability to make her sessions fun. I find that it is difficult to concentrate when a concept is hard, but Ishika is truly enthusiastic about teaching and strives to understand the learning needs of her students. With her help, I saw a significant improvement in my maths methods results and scored an average of 95% in my internal assessments during grade 12.

Ishika tutored me from Years 10-12 for IB Chemistry and English, and she has been a major pillar of support throughout my IB journey. I have always found her teaching methods to be very effective and have allowed me to better understand certain topics. She has always been very friendly and patient and was keen on helping me out with my IAs, EE and TOK essays – whether it was just proof-reading or even providing extensive feedback on how I could improve my work.
