About
Experienced Tutor | Perfect ATAR 99.95/ IB 45.75 | Results driven tutoring
Hi, I'm Ish! I’m offering tutoring services for Years 1-12 😊
I offer tutoring for Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Spanish. With my primary and early high school students, I focus on strengthening core skills in maths, basic sciences, reading comprehension, narrative and persuasive writing etc. Additionally, I can help prepare for NAPLAN, ICAS, as well as entrance exams (such as edutest and ACER).
I'm currently studying Medicine at the University of Melbourne and I received the Chancellor's scholarship. I graduated from Queensland's top performing school, QASMT with a perfect IB (International Baccalaureate) score of 45. This is equivalent to an ATAR of 99.95, meaning that I achieved an A in QCAA for all of my subjects.
I have a strong academic background in the subjects I tutor, and I am well-versed in the latest curriculum and requirements. I have been tutoring since 2021 and have 3500+ hours of experience in tutoring.
I charge $55/hr for Years 1-6, $70/hr for Years 7-9 and $100/hr for Years 10-12.
Please feel free to message me and send through any inquiries you may have.
I'm also happy to organise a free 10 minute phone consult to discuss your needs and ensure I'm the right tutor for you!

I genuinely couldn’t have done it without her, she knows all the insider tips and tricks that help make the difference between a 44 and 45. She was also so helpful with answering my last minute questions, with such quick replies. I would 100% recommend her to anyone wanting to improve their scores!

Ishika tutored me for Maths Methods and English throughout grade 10, 11 and 12 and I could not have asked for better support in my studies. Ishika’s English skills are impeccable, I saw a substantial improvement in my essay writing and also in my overall English skills such as vocabulary and sentence structuring .Although maths methods is a more difficult subject, Ishika was able to explain difficult concept in a simplistic sense and helped me to implement methods of problem solving which I was able to apply for the remainder of the syllabus. Something I admire the most about Ishika’s tutoring is her ability to make her sessions fun. I find that it is difficult to concentrate when a concept is hard, but Ishika is truly enthusiastic about teaching and strives to understand the learning needs of her students. With her help, I saw a significant improvement in my maths methods results and scored an average of 95% in my internal assessments during grade 12.

Ishika tutored me from Years 10-12 for IB Chemistry and English, and she has been a major pillar of support throughout my IB journey. I have always found her teaching methods to be very effective and have allowed me to better understand certain topics. She has always been very friendly and patient and was keen on helping me out with my IAs, EE and TOK essays – whether it was just proof-reading or even providing extensive feedback on how I could improve my work. Moreover, Ishika has also been very responsive outside of our sessions, taking the time to reply to my questions and providing me with useful resources. I highly recommend Ishika to anyone looking for an IB tutor!

Ishika is an extremely reliable, supportive and knowledgeable tutor who supported me throughout my IB journey. She always made herself available to answer any questions that I had and provided insightful feedback on my IAs. Her explanations were clear and helped me understand concepts better than any teacher I’ve had at school! She was instrumental in helping me understand IB specific question types and provided a range of practice resources that I could access. I highly recommend Ishika to anyone looking for a maths tutor!
