Hi! Originally from WA, I graduated from UWA in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in physics and electrical engineering with high distinction. I am currently studying the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney. I have over 4 years of tutoring experience. I graduated from Methodist Ladies' College in 2020 with an ATAR of 99.45 and a certificate of distinction. I'm friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping students improve in skills and confidence in STEM subjects - this being especially important in a world relying more and more on science and technology. I have studied the equivalent of Mathematics Advanced, Mathematics Extension I, Mathematics Extension II, Physics, and Chemistry. Continuing these subject areas into university means I have a very strong grounding that allows me to tutor all ability levels. I take on students in Years 11 and 12 for: - Mathematics Advanced - Mathematics Extension I - Mathematics Extension II - Physics - Chemistry I take on students in years 7-10 for science and maths. I teach slowly and thoroughly to ensure students have a strong conceptual understanding. This is incredibly important in mathematical subjects, as it allows students to address and cope with unfamiliar problems that they will be faced with in tests and exams, as well as developing their academic confidence and independence. This individual centred teaching style is difficult to achieve in a school environment. I really care about my students, and I will go further to ensure that your child gains and improves on skills and confidence in STEM areas.
