Zachary R.

Hi there, My name is Zac, and I am a 2020 HSC graduate and 2026 UNSW graduate, having studied Mechatronics Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. I have tutoring experience across both high school and university-level subjects, including working as a tutor for Art of Smart and tutoring multiple science and maths-based subjects at UNSW. Through these roles, I have supported students with subject content, exam preparation, study structure, problem-solving skills, and building confidence in challenging areas. I understand that not every student who seeks tutoring is naturally confident, top-ranked, or already achieving the marks they want. I was not the student with the highest ATAR or an all-rounder’s award, but I learnt how to improve through consistent effort, better study habits, strong revision techniques, and determination. That experience is what shapes the way I tutor. I do not just teach students what to study; I help them understand how to study effectively, manage their workload, revise properly, and approach exams with confidence. I believe results come from both good guidance and genuine effort, and I aim to support students in developing both. I am passionate about the subjects I teach and enjoy helping students give themselves the best possible chance at success. I am also available to support students over messaging outside of lessons where appropriate, so they can ask quick questions and stay on track between sessions.
