My name is Anastacia Patsolaridis and I am a qualified secondary school teacher. I graduated from Australian Catholic University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Teaching in Mathematics. I have previously worked at a Catholic boys school in Melbourne, however now I am solely focusing on tutoring mathematics privately (since having my son in 2024). I absolutely love maths and I am keen to help students reach their maximum potential in regard to their marks, study habits and content knowledge. I have a great understanding of mathematical concepts as I completed VCE year 12 Mathematical Methods (raw study score of 39) and Further Mathematics (raw study score of 48). I also learnt extensive mathematical concepts at a university level as a part of my degree. Therefore, I will be able to assist students from year 7 to year 12. My teaching style focuses on adapting to each individual's learning needs. I have tutored a total of 30+ students thus far over the past 6 years; ranging from students in year 5 to all high school year level students (including those undertaking VCE units 3 & 4 General Mathematics and Mathematical Methods). Our sessions tend to involve going through class content, completing unfinished work, extending knowledge on already learnt topics in class, exam and test preparation/revision and providing study techniques. I recognise that every student has their individual strengths and weaknesses. The goal is to really work on and make an effort to improve in the areas you tend to struggle with.
