Hi! I’m Leah, a qualified high school teacher based in Newcastle. I hold a Master of Teaching (Secondary) and a Bachelor of Science, double majoring in Earth Science and Geography. I have 8 years of teaching experience. I provide a supportive and structured learning environment to help students build confidence, strengthen their understanding of key concepts, and stay organised with their schoolwork. I offer tutoring in: • Stage 4–5 Mathematics • Stage 4–5 Science • Stage 6 Earth & Environmental Science • Stage 6 Geography I also provide general academic support, including help with homework, assessments, study skills, organisation, numeracy and literacy, and HSC mentoring. Sessions are held in a quiet home tutoring space, with a lounge area available for parents. Home visits and school holiday sessions can also be arranged. Rates: Stage 4 $60 – 1 hour (in my home) Stage 5 & 6 $60 – 1 hour (in my home) $70 – 1 hour (home visit) Tutoring is tailored to each student’s needs, whether they require weekly support, exam preparation, or help with assessments and study skills.
