Study Skills | 99.90 ATAR | 4th Year Medical Student | Online Tutoring
Hi! I’m Will, and I’m a second year medical student at Curtin University. I graduated from Guildford Grammar School in 2020 as DUX of school with an ATAR of 99.90. I am an experienced tutor for 2 years, focusing on improving grades, study techniques and your needs.
For WACE, I studied:
- Mathematics Methods
- Mathematics Specialist
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Literature
- French Second Language
Each of these subjects achieving 80+ (after scaling) for both Yr 11 and 12.
In 2020, I also received an offer from UWA for Bachelor of Philosophy with Direct Pathway into Masters of Engineering, Engineering Scholarship, and a UWA Winthrop Scholarship for academic excellence.
Having completed a year of Tennis Coaching and Assistant Teaching during my free time, I’ve learnt to adapt to the needs and goals of students, catering my lessons and advice based on the learning style which I feel will optimise your success and raise your confidence, whether it be in class or in the exam!
With my passion for learning, especially the sciences, I aim to provide fresh perspectives and make learning a game to enjoy rather than just a chore. Each subject has something unique and I hope I can lead you to find an interest that will help you learn with vigour and excitement.
Having managed my academics, school leadership, inter school sports, and music, I can also help you organise your time and build a regime so that your own personal interests aren’t compromised by your academic goals, as I think it’s important to maintain a balanced lifestyle.
I very much appreciate feedback or any concerns you may have. Being apart of your journey, I wish to have a positive influence, providing the best opportunity for you to accomplish your goals, and make the experience enjoyable!
Please send me a message if you are interested in organising sessions in order to discuss rates and location. I currently can accomodate for online tutoring, and counselling, however if you are able to meet at Curtin University, I’ll see if we can work it out
All the best and I look forward to working with you the coming year!
Will
