Hi! My name is David. I attended Sydney Grammar School and completed the HSC in 2020 with an ATAR of 99.55 and was a HSC All-rounder Achiever. My best marks were 99/100 for Maths Ext 1, 96/100 for Maths Ext 2, 95/100 for Latin Continuers, 48/50 for Latin Extension, 96/100 for French Continuers and 92/100 for Chemistry.
I offer tutoring for UCAT, French, Chemistry as well as Latin and Mathematics students of all years (excluding Mathematics Standard and Mathematics Life Skills). Maths, Latin, Chemistry and French were my strongest subjects in high school and I am confident that I will be able to pass on the knowledge and skills I have acquired in these subjects to you, while tailoring to each student's needs. I also believe that I will be of particularly valuable help for the various levels of senior mathematics and Chemistry as I was part of the first cohort to go through the new mathematics and Chemistry syllabuses. I also have a wealth of resources for the subjects that I offer that I can share with you to optimise your preparation.
I believe strongly in the importance to academic success of asking questions whenever you are unsure. I know that asking questions can sometimes be daunting in a classroom setting and will ensure that you are able to ask as many questions as you want during lessons. I also believe that identifying and tackling your weaknesses is extremely important to succeeding in a subject and will work together with you in order to do this. I also can assure you that I will go above and beyond to help you with your studies outside of class time, whether it be answering your study-related questions or giving study tips (Having studied 13 units in Year 12, I have learned how to optimise the time I spent studying).
