Hi, I'm Ellie! I'm a medical student at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), and graduated from Brisbane State High School in 2020 with an ATAR of 99.45 and 3210 UCAT. I studied English (General), Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Philosophy & Reason in Years 11 and 12.
Some of my achievements include:
- 100% internal for English, Chemistry, Philosophy & Reason
- 98% internal for Biology
- 99 overall in English (75/75 internals, 24/25 external)
- 95 in Chemistry, Philosophy & Reason
ATAR 📚:
Through Year 12, I have found that schools and textbooks often teach content which are irrelevant to the syllabi and thus not assessed in exams, leading to confusion and ineffective assessment preparation. In my 3+ years of tutoring experience, I've noticed this problem has not improved. As someone who has thoroughly familiarised herself with the curriculum, I am confident that I will be able to provide targeted tutoring and feedback which strictly adheres to the syllabus learning objectives. This includes content help, stepping through practice questions or prompts, homework and assignment help, and internal and external exam preparation alongside an arsenal of resources and tips that I am able to provide.
I provide tutoring for English (General), Literature, English (Essential), and Chemistry. I also offer assignment planning, feedback and marking for Biology and Philosophy & Reason. For Primary and Junior High school students I also offer Science, of most mainstream disciplines.

I'll help you learn the ins and outs of panel & MMI interviews, explain how to step into the shoes of an interviewer and schedule mock interview sessions with university-specific past questions, detailed feedback and example responses to make sure you're prepared!
I can also help you brainstorm, draft and edit UNSW, JCU or La Trobe written applications, helping you understand how to make yours compelling, unique, relevant and captivating to read.
