**English & HASS Tutoring: Final Tuesday Sessions Available** Hi, I'm Ethan Crook, a qualified high school English and HASS teacher offering one-on-one (or small group) tutoring for students in year levels 7 to 9. I have an extensive knowledge on current units of work, success critiera, and marking expectations for formative and summative work within these year-levels. As a current classroom teacher, I bring up-to-date knowledge of curriculum expectations and marking criteria to help students build confidence and improve results. I have a vast array of teaching pedagogy and approaches to support a diverse range of learning needs. I am results driven, ensuring that your child's academic success is centre-focus. Learning cannot occur without engagement. Students work with a range of up-to-date, curriculum aligned resources, as well as recieving personalised feedback on tasks and assessment pieces. Learning sequences and tutoring approaches are tailored to be effective and enjoyable, whilst still maintaining the focus on achieving academic excellence. I can support students with: - Essay writing, analytical responses, and creative writing. - Reading comprehension and text analysis (novels, poetry, film) - HASS topics including History, Geography, Civics, and Economics - Exam preparation and study skills.
