Hello. My name is Orla and I graduated from Abbotsleigh in 2020 with honours and an ATAR of 99.75. I ranked 2nd in the state in Modern History out of 11,053 students. I graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2024 with First Class Honours in my undergraduate. I since pursued a Masters in Philosophy in Modern British History at Cambridge, fully funded by a scholarship, and graduated with First Class Honours. I am commencing my PhD at the University of Oxford in October 2025. I am passionate about helping students perform to the best of their ability while still enjoying the content they are learning.
I am able to assist high school students from years 7-12 in English (Standard, Advanced, Extension 1 and Extension 2) and History (Mandatory, Elective, Modern, Ancient, Extension). I can also provide feedback and guidance on essays and assignments for all of the above subjects.
I have a plethora of detailed notes and practice questions that I am willing to share with my students as part of their examination preparation.
Tutoring sessions are online, and I have availability every weekday and weekend in the evening (AEST time).
