All-rounder 99.45 ✅USYD Scholarship✅3+Yrs Experience✅New Syllabus✅ Hi, I'm Cecilia, a 2020 graduate from academically selective Girraween High School. I received an ATAR of 99.45 and am an All-Rounder having achieved Band 6 in all my subjects. I offer tutoring for high school students to assist them in developing their understanding and improving their marks. I aim to provide in depth understandings of concepts, to allow students to effectively apply the knowledge to all questions. This will be done by breaking down content into smaller more manageable sections to allow comprehensive understanding of content. I have several years of experience tutoring high school students, and am currently providing tutoring for University of Sydney as a PASS Facilitator. Having recently sat the HSC for the new syllabus, I am aware of the changes to the rubric and am hence able to deliver high-quality information delivered from first-hand experience. Additionally, I have many resources especially for the new syllabus to provide and work through with my students to help them best prepare. Cecilia absolutely transformed my outlook on 4unit math and drastically improved my math grades and in year 11 and 12. Before Cecilia I was getting 70's in tests and during, I was achieving 90's including in HSC. I cannot recommend her enough and I am so grateful for her tutelage.

Cecilia is an excellent Chemistry tutor, making the complex topic easier to understand. Not only is she accommodating, tailoring sessions to my specific needs and concerns, but she is also quick to respond to messages and willing to adjust session times to better align with my schedule. She is always prepared with well-organised presentations where she provides clear and concise explanations for complex concepts. Throughout our sessions, Cecilia has patiently guided me through each topic, ensuring a solid grasp of key points while offering explanations that make even the most challenging material understandable. Cecilia has been my tutor for math extension 1 and math extension 2 in my hsc year. Her teaching helped me easily understand not only year 12 contents, but also some year 11 contents that I did not fully get before. She also quickly responds to all my questions regarding math (and some uni related questions) in and out of class time, which was really helpful as I would not be stuck in questions for too long and cause inefficient learning. With her tutoring, I got 89 and 85 for extension 1 and extension 2 respectively, which I’m very satisfied and happpy with. I’m really grateful to have her as my math tutor.

Cecilia's organisation along with her patience made her feel truly dependable, allowing me to comfortably ask questions across a range of subjects at any time. This really helped me gain in-depth knowledge about concepts I didn't understand before. Outside of lessons I could still learn from her notes and example essay responses she has provided. Cecilia has been a wonderful tutor in improving my marks and she is always willing to help!

Since beginning weekly tutoring sessions with Cecelia I saw an immediate improvement in both my marks and rank. Her lessons were structured and incorporated both theory and written responses. Each week I received constructive feedback on my responses which was extremely helpful particularly to revise areas which weren’t as strong. I finished year 12 as first in my cohort and my assessment marks had increased from mid 80s to then receiving full marks. Cecelia has no doubt been a very supportive and friendly tutor who is willing to send extra resources as well as reply to any questions throughout the week.

Cecilia is a great chemistry tutor, before I went to her I was struggling badly in the subject and falling behind in class, afterwards when she started tutoring me everything began to make sense. She has her own clear, concise and thorough notes explaining all the modules for the HSC course. Thanks to her I was able to score a pretty high band, something I definitely wouldn’t have been able to achieve without her help.

Cecilia has been extremely helpful tutor throughout year 12. With her help, I was able to achieve a HSC score of 94 in Mathematics Advanced and 44 in Mathematics Extension 1. She carries out lessons in a friendly yet professional manner and is always willing to help out or explain concepts in further detail as required. My tutor sessions went very well as in her tutoring versatility she able to tutor in both math and chemistry. I was pleased with the tips and notes catered toward the specific subjects I chose to go through during that lesson. Cecelia is great at teaching the content as she gives the necessary information to equipped me for upcoming tests or closely due assessments. After the lessons of consuming content she sets tasks or practice questions on a regular basis and gives valuable and comprehensive feedback after every lesson. Even when our tutoring sessions came to an end she was very organized provided me with the necessary notes and information to help guide me into HSC preparation.

Cecilia tutored me in PDH and really helped me understand the content! She went through her notes and gave in depth explanations about them and gave you opportunities to ask any questions, and also gave you information to prepare for exams, and also helped with any websites that would be helpful for some extra study. She also got me to do practice questions which helped me to remember and understand the concepts by applying knowledge. It also helped her to see any possible misunderstandings to correct me on, and also helped me to understand what hsc markers are looking for in responses. My grades improved after being tutored by Cecilia and I found the hsc pdh paper to be very easy😊

Cecilia has significantly contributed to my success and improvement in chemistry over the past few terms I’ve had with her. She is extremely knowledgeable regarding every aspect of the syllabus and as a result is very effective and clear with her teaching. Further, even when I found a concept difficult to understand she was patient and supportive, and never gave up until I was satisfied that I understood the content. Cecilia has also provided me with great resources to further my study including notes and practice questions. Additionally, due to her experience, she has given me invaluable tips ranging from exam techniques to organisational skills which have aided my improvement. Moreover, Cecilia goes above and beyond, taking the extra time needed to finalise any concepts or address any questions I had, even if that meant going over the allotted time for the session. She is also kind and enjoyable to work with, as well as being flexible with scheduling sessions. It is clear she is passionate about chemistry, and I cannot do justice to how valuable she has been. Cecilia has been one of the best Maths tutors and helped me with Maths Standard content. She is always prompt to online Zoom meeting calls and prepared for each lesson as she takes note of which syllabus topics we need to cover. In saying that, she also knows all the topics in the updated Maths syllabus and if there are a few parts that she is unfamiliar with, she will look for it immediately. I felt that the first few lessons were slightly a bit too fast paced but overtime the pacing of the lessons were better. When I didn't understand something she took the time to explain (and re-explain) the working out in different ways to help me; also giving enough time for me to attempt the question before jumping in to assist. Cecilia responds quickly to messages about lesson time changes and keeps in contact.
