Hi! My name is Olivia, and I am an experienced and passionate tutor with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Melbourne, majoring in Human Physiology. I graduated from high school in 2020 and have been tutoring ever since, helping students achieve their academic goals while fostering a genuine love for learning.

Experience
I currently work as a tutor with a private company, teaching a diverse range of high school students from selective, non-selective, public, and private schools. This role has honed my ability to adapt to different learning styles and tailor my teaching to individual needs.
In high school, I consistently ranked at the top of my classes while balancing co-curricular activities and community engagement. This experience shaped my understanding of time management and perseverance, which I aim to instil in my students.

Olivia has been and continues to be an outstanding tutor who has helped me tremendously improve in Biology, Advanced English and Standard Maths. Olivia provides multiple resources during the lesson and additional resources if I wanted which really helps me have a further understanding of the topics. She always responds quickly whenever I want her to look over anything and her feedback is always very detailed and clear. Her explanations during our lessons are always very clear and she answers all the questions I ask her even if I think they are silly. She significantly helped me in maths from when I would get around a 60% in year 10 but now all my results are 90% and above. I think she is an amazing tutor and will continue to use her for my HSC.

Olivia is a very caring, open-minded tutor who was a real mentor for me during my HSC year. She really went above and beyond to mark my practice responses and provided me with a plethora of resources to help my essay writing skills. Her feedback was extremely detailed and you could tell she really cared about making sure I felt confident and got the best possible marks. With her help, I have improved from an average of 63% in 2020 to an average of 95% and ranked 3/211 in my cohort. I found myself looking forward to our lessons and have found a new love for english which I hope to pursue in university. I would highly recommend Olivia as a tutor, especially for English Advanced.

Olivia is an amazing tutor who helped me improve from a low Band 3 to a Band 5 in only five months. She takes time to explain everything in a way that I will understand, sharing her extensive knowledge of the syllabus, essay writing skills and everything in between. Without her help I wouldn’t have been able to drastically improve my mark in such a short amount of time. I highly recommend her for anyone doing English Advanced!

Olivia was an excellent, kind and passionate tutor who was very patient with me in Biology, English Advanced and Earth & Environmental science, as someone who doesn't grasp content-heavy concepts quickly. Her considerate teaching style and ability to respond to what I thought were 'silly' questions made working with her very comforting and non-judgmental. I found that I looked forward to our lessons because of her ability to build up my confidence in these topics - and this significantly paid off in my assessments where I went from a 60% to 92% in Bio and overall lifted my ranks across all my subjects! She was also very flexible when it came towards assessment blocks or when I had other personal commitments to find time to add or move around sessions. Her explanations are simple but very effective and I took so much value from our short time together. Couldn't recommend Olivia more highly!

Olivia was an immensely kind and patient tutor who helped me sooo much in bio and eng adv. Not only did Olivia help improve my marks from mid 60s to the top 10, but she was also a great mentor and role model who really understood the stress I was feeling and kept me motivated during such a challenging year. I cannot stress enough how great she was, always helping me 24/7 with any questions or concerns I had during trials and my hsc. I honestly can't thank liv enough!!!!! :)
