About

Hi! I’m an experienced tutor who has a passion for knowledge and a drive to create motivated and enthusiastic learners. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science at the University of Sydney. I specialise predominantly in HSC English (STD, ADV and EXT), Biology and Mathematics Standard. I am also equipped to tutor Studies of Religion (1 and 2), Geography and Years 7-10 English, Mathematics and Science.

I am a friendly, patient and clear communicator who can empathise with the stresses of high school, considering I completed my HSC amidst the turmoil of a pandemic! I have a great range of experience, currently employed as a Tutor with a Private Company. In this role, I am working with a diverse range of high school students from selective/non-selective, private and public schools.

I believe that tutoring is more than achieving a mark. Thus, I aim to foster a safe and comfortable learning environment that challenges my students to think critically and creatively to ask questions and engage with the content. In this way, I strive to foster personal growth that can be applied to all facets of my student’s life, socially and academically.

I have achieved many successes in High School, ranked consistently first and second in all my subjects whilst balancing a diverse range of Community Engagement and Co-Curricular Activities. This balance was achieved through hard work and determination that I hope to model for my future students. If you would like to see a detailed Curriculum Vitae, please feel free to get in touch!

I have access to a plethora of resources to supplement student learning and promote consistency which is key to academic success. This enables a personalised learning approach that accommodates for individual needs.

I typically Tutor at Rouse Hill and Castle Hill Library with great flexibility to complete Home and Online Tutoring. I also offer group tutoring at a revised rate of $25/hr/pp and one-off sessions to assist with assessments/tasks. This service can also include marking work (e.g. essays) and providing feedback/exemplar responses. The rates for these services are task/subject-specific.

Note: I have a valid Working With Children Check (Paid employment)

If you have any questions or inquires, please do not hesitate to get in touch!

I have found Olivia to be an intelligent young woman with proven time management skills and an extremely caring nature. She models diligence in her daily tasks and is patient with those she meets. She has developed great interpersonal skills through her volunteer work and is extremely resourceful. She goes above and beyond to ensure her team succeeds and I have no doubt this will be translated to her tutoring endeavours.
