I am currently in my final year of Mechanical Engineering at Adelaide Uni. I completed my SACE Stage 2 in 2020 with an ATAR of 99.50. My best subjects were English (for which I received a merit) and Mathematics!
I am especially passionate about Maths. In 2020 I started a lunchtime Maths Club to provide a comfortable learning environment for students to ask questions and deepen their mathematical knowledge. I tutored with Grade A Tuition for a year and have been tutoring privately for 3 years now.
The most successful students are resilient learners who aren't afraid to ask questions, and harbour an underlying love for the subjects they choose to study. Many may disagree, but I believe that hard work, determination and resilience are the foundation to success – hard work beats talent (or intelligence) when talent doesn't work hard.
For the upcoming year 12 student, I will prepare you for your SACE - we will revisit the significant year 11 topics and any assumed knowledge.
