As a high-achieving student back in year 12, even I know I would have struggled with VCE General Maths without a good tutor. Though the concepts may be ‘easier’ compared to Maths Methods or Specialist Maths, schools often fail to teach exam skills effectively, making it difficult to translate concepts to questions, especially as VCAA finds ways to curate more complex questions every year.
