Hi there!
I am a dedicated, highly organised tutor with over six years of experience supporting both primary and secondary students in achieving strong academic results, particularly in English and Humanities. Throughout my tutoring career, I have helped students improve their confidence, skills, and performance through structured, targeted learning.
I graduated as an HSC All-Rounder in 2020, achieving Band 6 results in all subjects, and have maintained a WAM of 80+ at university. I also hold a valid Working With Children Check.
I have recently completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology (Honours) at the University of Sydney, giving me a strong understanding of learning processes, motivation, and exam-related stress. This background allows me to support students not only academically, but also emotionally - helping them stay calm, focused, and resilient during high-pressure periods such as assessments and exams.
I have experience working with students from diverse learning and personal backgrounds, including those with dyslexia, OCD, anxiety, and heightened stress levels, and I adapt my teaching strategies to ensure each student feels supported, understood, and capable of success.

Going into year 11, I wasn't the most confident when it came to my abilities in English. After having three terms of tutoring with Christine, I can say that I am a lot more confident and I am producing much better results. I went from barely passing my exams to getting top 10 for my first two exams and achieving second in my preliminary task. Christine has tutored my daughter in Maths for over a year. Her class follows a structure which includes activities that keep my daughter engaged. Christine discusses progress and plans around areas of focus depending on the needs of her students. I have asked for homework to be provided at the end of each class and an assessment of progress on request and has accommodated these requirements. Christine also plans ahead of class and tests knowledge from previous session. Overall, I am happy with the way sessions are going.
