I have substantial knowledge and experience in my field, and I have a passion for my subject which I can transfer to my students.
I approach tutoring with an empathetic mindset, and through this I am able to provide a safe and encouraging environment for young people to learn. Having been a student myself and been presented with many challenges that I have successfully overcome, I am able to empathise with the students, understand their challenges and how to overcome them.
Currently I work as an ESL teacher at a private language school, where I have taught for over three years. In addition to this I have approximately four years experience as a private tutor.
I specialise in English (including extension and literature), as well as English as an additional language.
I am also able to tutor any humanities subject.
While I am based in Queensland, I also have thorough knowledge of the New South Wales HSC.
My qualifications include:
Bond University: MA in TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages)
University of Queensland: BA in English Literature.
