I am currently a VIT-qualified teacher, who is specialized in Year 7-12 math education. I have 5-year teaching experience in teaching across both government and private leading schools: Caulfield Grammar School and St Leonards College. As an experienced Mathematics teacher in leading private schools, I am familiar with Victorian Math Curriculum, and all ranges of VCE Math Standards. More importantly, I have a bank of teaching resources, differentiated worksheets, learning activities, and enrichment programs for all levels of students. EVERY LEARNER IS UNIQUE! My teaching is student-centred, goal-driven but interactive and fun. Teaching is personalized and targeted so that students can grow and learn with confidence. Furthermore, I have 5 years of private tutoring experience online and offline. All my students have been continually making huge improvements in their math understanding, and problem-solving skills, which leads them into entering accelerate math classes in top private schools. As a tutor here, I will work with students to identify weaknesses and strengths in Mathematics and create targeted lesson sequences that consolidate understanding and extend learning. I am also a mathematics competition coach, such as the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC), the da Vinci Decathlon and the School Mathematics Competition hosted by The University of Melbourne. In my class, students will have homework after class and parents will also receive my feedback frequently. Assessments after each period of learning will be offered as well. For one on one: $80-100/h for VCE Mathematics; $70/h for Year7-9 Mathematics For groups of two: $60 per person /1 hour Location: we can meet in the library or visit your place where it is convenient for both of us!
