Hi, my name is Chelsea!
I have completed my Bachelors degree of Speech Language and Hearing Science as well as my Masters degree of Clinical Audiology both with a Distinction average at Macquarie University. I have 6 years tutoring experience teaching maths to over 40 students from Year 2 through to Year 12.
I'm a passionate tutor in the Northern Beaches and North Shore area. My focus is to help students gain confidence within their studies that will not only elevate their learning experience in school, but aid future study as well. I currently tutor students from all years fully Online!
There are many services that I offer to benefit my students towards improving their math results:
Out of hour help - If my students have simple questions or get stuck during the week, they can contact me for some extra guidance between tutoring sessions.
Access to hundreds of past paper exams - Practice makes perfect, so students get access to hundreds of past paper exams and thousands of practice questions.
Practice exam marking and feedback - Many students know the content, but struggle to gain marks in exams. This marking and feedback service is to help my students learn how to get the marks they deserve.
Tailored practice questions - Each student receives weekly tailored practice questions so that they can be confident they are truly understanding everything.

Chelsea has been an outstanding Tutor for our son. She has built up his confidence and knowledge in Year 12 Maths in a supportive, motivating and encouraging manner. She is the best tutor we have had and not only is she experienced in this area but a great teacher and mentor. Chelsea is thorough and clear and explains concepts very well. Chelsea has been tutoring my son in Maths since the end of year 8 and he's just finished his HSC. She has also been tutoring my younger girls since year 5 (now in year 9). She has an excellent manner with the kids, sets them some homework - and also communicates well with me in keeping me updated on progress including when they may need to put in some extra effort. Even my children have recommended Chelsea as a tutor to their friends! I highly recommend Chelsea if you're looking for a maths tutor.

Chelsea was absolutely fantastic! We engaged Chelsea when our daughter went from Advanced Maths to Standard at the beginning of Year 12. She helped her to do all the catch up work from Year 11 at the same time as working through the Year 12 curriculum. Our daughter loved Chelsea and would often contact her outside of session times to ask questions. The weekly sessions with Chelsea helped keep her accountable with all the past test papers. We aren’t sure how the HSC exam went yet but the results of the last few exams, including the trials were in the 90s so clearly Chelsea was a great help!
