Jennifer has been my English tutor since Year 8, and encouraged me to undertake English Advanced in my senior years. I have noticed substantial improvements in my performance in English throughout the years, particularly due to Jennifer's immense guidance and contribution towards my English journey. During our session times, she has substantially helped in providing me with feedback for school-based English tasks, ensuring that I have necessary and sufficient resources, and guiding me when writing and polishing drafts amongst so much more. Alongside helping me during session times, Jennifer further contributes time and effort in checking over my work in her own time before our sessions, sending me resources that could help me with the units I'm studying in class during the week, and providing me with extra help when I need it. Jennifer made the transition from Year 10 English to Year 11 English Advanced smoother than expected, ensuring that I had the correct guidance in my junior years to support this otherwise daunting shift into senior studies. Without Jennifer, I don't think I could have received the internal and external marks I received, and ultimately a 90+ ATAR. I am very satisfied with my Year 11 and 12 English marks and ranks, and I'm so glad to have had Jennifer as my tutor.

I have observed excellent progress in my essay writing skills in English Standard while being tutored by Jennifer. In under 5 months, she was able to help me refine my skills for the final HSC exams, and I have never felt so confident about my writing. As a highly professional tutor, she was able to provide me with heaps of extra resources and critical feedback on my essays that helped me improve. Jennifer is also very comfortable to communicate with - this immensely helped me dissect my issues for both Papers 1 and 2 with her and to comprehensively fix my weaknesses.

With Jennifer's tutoring, we have seen much improved English results for our son (Year 12). He finished Year 11 in 2020 with a mark of 49/10 and his class/year ranking was 31/79. At the end of Semester 2, 2021 his mark has improved to 75/100 and his ranking is now 10/79. Jennifer's tutoring has definitely helped to improve his marks.

I started with Jennifer just 2 weeks before my trial exams and although we didn't get to revise every module, in the ones we did go over in those few weeks we could already see a massive improvement. Jennifer being a teacher enables her to cater to each student as well as understand the most current curriculum and what NESA teacher markers are after. She cares just as much about your wellbeing as achieving the best you can in English, and overall I would very highly recommend her.
