I’m Sam, a Bachelor of Mathematics graduate majoring in Mathematics and Applied Statistics. I’ve been tutoring maths for over 15 years, helping students from Year 7 through to university build confidence, skill, and genuine understanding. My experience means I know the common hurdles students face and the strategies that actually work. Rather than memorising formulas, I focus on understanding concepts and developing problem-solving skills. Everyone learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to your individual learning style. Learning is never one-size-fits-all! Subjects: • Year 7-12 Mathematics (Standard, Advanced, Extension 1 & 2) • First-year university maths and statistics Availability: 7 days a week — flexible scheduling to suit busy timetables. Rates: $70 per hour (most students prefer 1 hour sessions; Extension 2 or university students may benefit from 1.5–2 hours weekly). I still love seeing that “aha!” moment when a student finally sees how a problem fits together; it never gets old.
