99.85 ATAR / 44 IB / Hi, I'm Nicole Lin and I completed the IB Diploma with a 44 IB (99.85 ATAR) and am currently studying Doctor of Dental Medicine at Sydney University. One of the fundamental errors that students make is to study endlessly without absorbing any of the information that is actually essential to their exams. I often found myself with limited time to prepare come exam time, which forced me to develop a concise, compact study technique, meaning that I learn what is necessary with accuracy and efficiency. Alongside my extensive collection of questionbanks and study notes, I will walk through each step of the process with you; first by breaking down the content to ensure full understanding, then through regular consolidation with past papers. Having worked with students of all ages, I have developed skills of flexibility and communication that can easily adapt to suit your learning strengths and target your weaknesses. Tutored me in English Language and Literature HL and TOK. English preparation was phenomenal, how to interpret various texts, writing a good introduction, formulating body paragraphs & developing your own writing style/voice. TOK tutoring was also very good. Primarily helped me with TOK Essay planning, formulation of arguments & counterclaims, and clarity/conciseness in writing.
