99.95 ATAR | IB 45 (A/A) | Experienced IB Tutor | Hi, I’m Rachel! I completed the IB diploma in 2019 with a perfect score of 45/45, equivalent to an ATAR of 99.95. I was Dux of the MLC IB cohort in both Year 11 and 12, ranking first in History and Economics in Year 11 as well as Chemistry, Economics, French, History and Theory of Knowledge in Year 12. My sustained academic achievements coupled with my perfect score in my final exams testify to my strong understanding of IB subjects and marking styles. I received

My tailored academic support covers making challenging concepts digestible, content consolidation, essay marking/guidance, Internal Assessment (IA) help as well as teaching content ahead of the classroom pace should my student feel ready. Through my experience with the IB courses, I have developed techniques that enabled me to maximise my marks in both internal and external assessments. There is often a particular formula that IB teachers/markers look for in a Band 7 work- I will share these strategies with you in order to help you attain the best possible results.
I tutor in the Hornsby-Macquarie-Chatswood-Epping-North Shore area as well as the Inner West area (Eastwood-Burwood), in libraries or places close to a train line. I also offer online tutoring via Zoom.
