Aiming for a Band 6 or an IB 7? Let’s get you there. As an HSC German tutor and IB German tutor, I work with all kinds of students. Many are already doing well and aiming for the top band, and want expert feedback, polished writing and confident speaking to get there. Others have a teacher with little time for individual feedback in a busy class. And some feel lost because the class moves too fast. Whatever the starting point, the goal is the same: the best result each student can achieve. I have tutored students through HSC, IB, VCE and QCE, and I know exactly what examiners reward and where marks are lost. I don’t just help students get marks. I help them truly understand the language, so the marks follow. About me German is my second language. I learnt it at a specialist language high school in Bulgaria, then studied in Germany and worked as a lecturer and research fellow at the University of Siegen, where I supervised and marked diploma theses. I’ve been teaching German for 12+ years, so I know from experience where students get stuck and how to get past it.
