Mathematical Methods || Specialist Mathematics || Physics || Engineering || German Hey there! I'm Kathiresh and I am a student at the University of Queensland. I graduated in 2020 with an ATAR rank of 99.70 from Brisbane State High School and am studying for a Bachelor of Engineering Honours and Mathematics. I also have four years of tutoring experience for Mathematical Methods, Mathematical Specialist, Physics, German and Engineering under the ATAR system. As the first year level to learn under the new ATAR system, I have valuable insight on how assessments in these subjects are set out and graded. However, I was able to successfully navigate the various challenging topics through a variety of practices, which culminated in my consistent performance over three years. I plan to teach the content from a more intuitive approach that can be difficult to access in the classroom. I would also love to share and encourage the study practices I used that made Specialist Mathematics more engaging and easier to learn. _____________________________________________________________________________ Physics The content in physics is a lot. There's no other way to put it. Because of that, it can be a daunting task to try and remember all the information that's thrown at you for exams, or write coherent student experiments and research investigations. But don't worry! I I managed to get on top of everything by implementing effective strategies to learn all the content more effectively. It is these strategies I want to share with you to help you succeed. _____________________________________________________________________________ Engineering High school engineering is a unique subject, because rather than learning one topic after another in some order, you’re given random bits of content from my different backgrounds, like physics, mathematics and chemistry. As a high school engineering student of six years and Bachelor of Engineering freshman, I am almost too familiar with the challenges around learning all that content.
